All right everyone its time for another contest! The good fellas over at the black library sent over a copy of "Flesh and Iron" by Henry Zou and it can very very easily be yours. Here is a bit of a summary of the book.
There are reports of an uprising on the planet of Solo-Baston. Indigenous forces are rebelling against Imperial rule, led by the mysterious 'Dos Pares'. Amidst the conflict, the 31st Riverine Imperial Guard are dispatched to seek and retrieve a vital piece of weaponry, but find themselves beset on all sides by hostile forces. And what they originally thought was simple tribal warfare soon reveals a much more sinister activity. Flesh and Iron serves as a prequel to Emperor's Mercy.
Anywho to the contest rules.
1. You must be a registered user of mybattalion.com (don't worry its free)
2. Pick a random number between 1-2000 (first person to post their guess gets the number)
3. Post your guess in a comment to this article.
3. You wait until next monday evening where I will run a seeded random number generator, I will roll 3d6 and run the random number generator that many times, the guess closest to the number that comes up on the last try will win!
4. If a tie occurs, (two numbers are equidistant from the generated number) I will conduct a seeded tiebreaker.
