The first wave of my many eBay purchases have started to arrive.  Today I got the 5th edition rules and started reading them.  I picked up a lot of codexes  that I'm really looking forward to checking out.  

I pulled my old units out of storage and will post some pics up soon.

I mainly focus on 40K myslef, but I know that the Fire and Sword store at Northlake Mall has a fantasy group that plays there.

How did it go?

I've become sick and tired of Purity Seal. I threw a half can away after it frosted three rhinos in one sitting. I bought a can of Painter's Choice Satin clear from Home Depot. It's not completely matte, but it was certainly less shiny than Ardcoat. After a while I bought a can of Dullcote and gave it a whirl over the Painter's Choice. Looks GOOD. I don't even buy Ardcoat any more - just hit the model with the painter's choice satin clear, and when that goes hard the model gets dullcoted. I'm very happy with it. $6 a can is well worth it.
